If anyone is paying attention to the progress meter at the bottom of the page, you'll see that I'm just a wee bit behind on my goals. My laptop's memory blowout came at a bad time. Well, any time is a bad time but now I'm off to a shaky start with this novel. I've extended the deadline to mid-March and I refuse to move it any further. I would still like to have the rough draft done by New Year's but I'm not going to kill myself trying.
Besides writing, now that my laptop is working properly I need to fulfill my commitments to Dreaming in Ink. Which means I have to figure out how to crit and what to crit, and do two crits by the end of the month. Normally not daunting, but considering that I'm 17,000 words behind I'm about to tear my hair out.
